Article 10 of the Order. Applies from 23 September 2027. 337 days to go.
RCVS Find a Vet: what vets must submit under the CMA Order
Send the RCVS your practice details, price list, parasiticide prices and pet care plan information for its Find a Vet comparison service, and keep them up to date.
The RCVS Find a Vet form is not live yet. The RCVS will notify businesses within 10 days of launch.
What the Order requires
- For each first opinion practice: trading name, postal, web and email addresses, phone numbers, opening hours and pet types treated.
- Practice information, price list, parasiticide price list and pet care plan information, with the URL of each page where they are published.
- Out-of-hours and referral centres send basic information, practice information and price list. Groups also give the group trading name.
- Submitted through the RCVS Find a Vet web form.
- Price changes sent before the new price is charged; other changes as soon as reasonably practicable.
- Due 3 months after the RCVS form is live, or from 23 September 2027 if that is later.
How to fix it
- Publish each item on its own stable URL now, so the submission is a copy of what is already live.
- Add the RCVS submission to your price change checklist.
