Vet flea and worming prices: CMA parasiticide price rules
Publish per-product prices for your commonly sold flea, tick and worming products, and link to the VMD's register of accredited online retailers.
What the Order requires
- Covers each parasiticide sold 100 or more times at the site last financial year, or your top 10 by volume if fewer than 10 meet that bar.
- For each: product name, brand, whether it is own-brand, active ingredient, pack amount, strength and dose, any extra charges, and price including VAT.
- A statement that owners should consult their vet or SQP.
- A link to the VMD Register of Online Retailers, online and in the practice.
How to fix it
- Run a sales report for last financial year to pick the products in scope.
- Publish them on or next to your price list with the required fields.
- Add the VMD register link and the vet or SQP statement beneath the table.
